Matyรกลก Novรกk has made a name for himself as one of the most promising pianists of his time through his extraordinary harmonic expression, vast repertoire and unique way of key-stroking.
Matyรกลก Novรกk was born in Hradec Krรกlovรฉ, the Czech Republic. He began studying piano at the age of five. Matyรกลก graduated from the Imola International Piano Academy in 2022 where he studied with Boris Petrushansky. He previously studied at Pardubice Conservatoire in the Czech Republic under Jitka Fowler Fraลkovรก. Currently, Matyรกลก is attending the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, specifically the class conducted by prof. Ivan Klรกnskรฝ.
Matyรกลก has performed throughout his native Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, Poland, Luxembourg, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Serbia, Italy, Norway,Sweden, Denmark, Holland, France, Thailand and the USA. Between 2015 and 2016 he undertook two successful concert tours in China.
In 2017 he debuted in Carnegie Hall, New York. In the same year he released his first album Franz Liszt: Annรฉes de pรจlerinage: Premiรจre annรฉe: Suisse and became one of the three musicians who received CME International Performing Arts Grant awarded by the Center for Musical Excellence in New Jersey. In May 2021 a classical record label Nimbus Alliance released his CD with Mozartยดs Piano concertos K. 413, K. 414, K. 415 which he recorded in cooperation with a world famous Wihan Quartet. In 2024 he released his third album Franz Liszt / Franz Schubert: Schwanengesang.
